Tyche Academy was founded during the Covid-19 pandemic by three college students from Princeton, UChicago, and Georgetown. Armed with a passion for education and a desire to help the community, 50% of Tyche’s proceeds are donated to Covid-19 related food insecurity relief.

What is Tyche?

Or rather, who is Tyche? Tyche, also known as Fortuna, is the Greek goddess of fortune, fate, chance, and success – often represented by a cornucopia, the horn of plenty. We want to help you make your application the highest quality it can possibly be, so that fortune is on YOUR side! When your application material is carefully crafted in the best possible way, you’ll have an extra element of good fortune and luck in the process! Remember that “fortune sides with he who dares” – dare to choose Tyche.

Tyche Academy is committed to supporting the college applications journey of ANY applicant that seeks out our help, no matter their circumstances. Contact us to let us know of your situation!

Hi y’all! I’m a second-year at the University of Chicago majoring in Economics and Philosophy. In college I am currently a research assistant at the Booth School of Business, interning at a private equity firm, and volunteering with a local criminal justice nonprofit. I am ecstatic to guide this year’s rising seniors in their college applications process!
